Crystal! Get well soon!!

So many things to do yet so little time. Sometimes I wish to get a break from work just to have some private time. I'll prob visit the library to read up more on Accountancy, shop around, watch more TV, practice my piano, pack my room......

The temp staff in my office always tell me it's perfectly alright if I take leave. But they fail to see the money issue, no work no pay. Temp staff have no such thing called annual leave lor! Plus I have to come up with some valid excuse, otherwise it seems weird to just say "don't expect me in tmr".

If you're wondering why I am so uptight about money, it's because I'm supporting myself now.

Meeting up with Geraldine was cancelled at the last minute cos she was OT'ing till 8+. Fang Jing and Jasmine were famished, so we decided to call the entire thing off. Anyway Crystal is sick and Brenda couldn't make it today. (if you're wondering who are all these people, there's my fellow temp friends at HSBC)

Geraldine said the people at the Bank of Tokyo are 90% middle-aged women, and there's only one male staff there.

The thought of quitting came across my mind today (again)..then I thought of Geraldine and my other friends who work at Raffles Place. All of them say that the pace of life there is too quick, and people are generally unfeeling. But then again, I can't see myself working in where I am now till June.

Sometimes the people are super nice, like they offer me coffee, milo, crackers, tarts, muffins, sweets etc. Sometimes, they are just too busy to appreciate your contribution or realise your presence.

Am I asking for too much?

I felt super weird sitting at Lina's desk today, right beside the big boss and the big boss's boss. Alright, don't make me start the whole issue about me losing my table.

Sean kor kor gave me some HSBC pen which was supposedly meant for the customer. It's so pretty!! There's like light through the transparent portion of the pen, and you can make it flash in 5 colours!

It's just Monday blues.
